At the Rizzo Career Center, we categorize these stages as Discover, Explore, Prepare, and Pursue. To give you a competitive edge, we provide coaching in all aspects of this career management process to help you leverage and build upon your professional accomplishments.

Your Ãå±±ÂÖ¼écareer advisors are here to assist you with all of your career development needs, whatever they might be.  One-on-one appointments are available virtually or in-person at the Rizzo Career Center and can be scheduled on . Topics may include:

Strong Interest Inventory

One of the most popular and longest-used career assessments, the Strong helps you explore potential educational, career, and leisure activities matched with your preferences in a variety of areas. The Strong is a powerful tool at any stage in one’s career and complimentary for all Ãå±±ÂÖ¼égraduate students. Myers-Briggs Type Indicator

This introspective self-report questionnaire identifies differing psychological perspectives and preferences in how people perceive the world and their surroundings. It has been used by the majority of Fortune 500 corporations and can help you better understand your leadership style and fit with different types of teams and career paths. Networking Events

Career Services and a variety of partners on campus host networking events for current students and alumni to gather throughout the year. All events are advertised in . In particular, keep an eye out for the Sellinger Speed Networking event each year, an opportunity for graduate students to travel around the room and spend time with executive-level alumni and other professionals in a speed dating format.

Career Fairs

While many people view college career fairs as only for undergraduates, they are phenomenal opportunities to meet alumni and recruiters seeking talent for top companies in our region. Particularly popular with our business students is Meet the Firms, our annual September fair for accounting, finance, and other business roles. Recent employers who attended Meet the Firms include KPMG, Morgan Stanley, PwC, SC&H Group, and T. Rowe Price. Our events page features upcoming fairs and events.
