Advising Technology
Advising technology can strengthen advising interactions for both students and advisors. Utilizing electronic resources at 山ּallows advisors to efficiently and effectively provide relevant and accurate information personalized to each advisee.
Perceptive Content (formerly ImageNow/WebNow)
Perceptive Content stores advising documents that the advisor can view for assigned
advisees. Such documents include an advisee’s application, past registration forms,
midterm deficiency reports, and other documentation related to a student’s academic
and/or enrollment status.

Student Planning
In addition to serving as Loyola’s course registration platform, Student Planning is a tool that allows advisors to view a photographic list of their assigned advisees and grant electronic permission to register, as well as sixth course permission.
Student Planning instructions can be found on the Office of the Registrar’s Website. Please click the “Faculty” tab and then “Student Planning Guide for Advisors” to download the Power Point guide.
Degree Audit/My Progress
The degree audit (“My Progress” in Student Planning) is an electronic resource personalized for each student based on their intended or declared major (and minor, when applicable). The Academic Advising and Support Center (AASC) uses this tool to track a student’s progress towards graduation. Students and advisors are able to access degree audits through Student Planning.
If students or advisors notice any incorrect or missing information in a degree audit, they should contact AASC at 410-617-5050.
Academic Worksheets
Academic worksheets, created and maintained by AASC, summarize the major and minor program requirements as listed in the academic catalogue. Students can use these unofficial documents to plan their degree requirements based on a specific major or minor.
Academic Catalogue
The Academic Catalogue is the official source for curriculum and policy-related information pertaining to a specific academic year. Each student is responsible for following the policies and procedures outlined in the catalogue for the academic year in which they matriculated.
